Selection Presence Terms of Use

Selection Presence is a read-only productivity companion that makes a bounded Microsoft Excel selection available to an authorized local Codex workflow. By installing or using it, you agree to use it only with workbooks and devices you are authorized to access.

Local companion requirement

The add-in requires a separately installed local companion service and trusted localhost certificate. The public host provides static add-in assets only. Availability may depend on Microsoft 365, Excel, operating-system, browser-runtime, certificate, and local-service support.

Data and security

You must not disclose the local capability token, bypass workbook or organizational controls, or use the add-in to access another person’s workbook without permission. The add-in itself does not authorize workbook changes. Separate write workflows remain subject to explicit targets, direct verification, and user or organizational approval.

No financial or legal advice

The add-in transports bounded spreadsheet context. It does not provide investment, accounting, tax, legal, lending, or valuation advice, and it does not guarantee the accuracy of workbook content or downstream analysis.

Warranty and liability

The software is provided on an “as is” and “as available” basis to the extent permitted by law. Gallagher Property Company does not warrant uninterrupted availability or fitness for a particular purpose. Liability is limited to the maximum extent permitted by applicable law.

Changes and termination

These terms may be updated by posting a revised effective date. You may stop using the add-in at any time by removing it and uninstalling the companion. Gallagher Property Company may suspend support for misuse or a material security risk.
