Selection Presence Support

Selection Presence requires a supported Microsoft Excel build with SharedRuntime 1.1 and ExcelApi 1.7, the trusted companion service on https://localhost:3210, and one initial task-pane activation for each workbook.

Quick checks

1. Confirm the local companion reports healthy and is bound only to 127.0.0.1:3210.
2. Open Selection Presence from Excel’s Home ribbon.
3. If the pane reports an authorization or certificate error, reinstall or restart the signed companion before retrying.
4. If presence is stale, reopen the pane and make one normal worksheet selection.

The companion never authorizes a workbook write. Codex still requires an explicit target, a direct preimage, and conflict-safe verification for any separate edit workflow.
